HARRIET LERNER, M.A.
President, Harriet Lerner Enterprises, LLC
Harriet Lerner was Director of Marketing for the Westchester County Board of Realtors for 14 years; she still counts them among her clients. Before that and concurrently, up until the present, she has been a freelance journalist and copywriter. Over ten years' ago, she started her company, a public relations and marketing firm which helps clients gain visibility in the press, including the social media and online, thus improving their sales. Her company's mission is to develop brand strategies for clients, fueled by an unwavering work ethic.
The community has always been important to her, having served two years at Grace Church, a weekly soup kitchen in Port Chester. She has long felt that she can only grow through helping others. Her other voluntary work was for a national mortgage association for 15 years, (NAPMW), for twenty years a volunteer and contributor to UJA, the publicity committee of Public Relations Society for a year, and currently the Board of United Way; she continues to serve the Rotary Club of White Plains where she was awarded the Paul Harris Award for Service.
Education:
From the Bronx High School of Science to her cum laude degree from Barnard College, Ms. Lerner's educational credentials have equipped her to understand various businesses, and write articles about diverse subjects.
She also has an MA in art and architectural history from Columbia, where she completed doctoral course work. She is fluent in Italian and conversant in French.
